Didn't like them Review by Rex

I got 2 pair of these a few weeks ago and do not like them at all. I am 40 years old, 5'8", 153lbs, and a Registered Nurse in an ICU. First, I think they are too expensive. I am someone who has no issues paying for good scrubs, but I still think these are a little over priced. That is probably due to the excessive number of "features" included in these scrubs. Too many pockets, too many design details, too many cords, straps, bands, etc. It is a lot of bling for a set of workwear. These are probably better suited to a young hot guy who works as a medical supply rep than and actual bedside clinician. Too much bulk for my taste, personally. Keep in mind, this is just my review, based on personal preferences.

They were also over sized compared to the same size scrubs I have bought over the past 13 years. I ordered SMALL and felt like I was wearing baggy ghetto cargo pants and an top someone would wear to do crafts and painting in. Both the top and pants were too long. Length is the main issue with the sizing. If you are 5'9"-5'10" and about 160-165lbs, SMALL will fit probably perfectly. There is a cord on the ankle that can be tightened to close up the opening so that it stays on top of your shoe instead of around it hitting the floor, but the consequence is that it bunches the bottom of the leg up, making it a little poofy. The top was too long and kept getting caught on my ass, or rode up over my ass and would get stuck on top of it. I kept having to pull it back down.

The neckline is way too prissy and feminine for my taste too, It is curved and soft. The shoulders are an issue too. The look a little pointy or like I am wearing shoulder pads. There is a silicone ring sewn all the way around the inside of the waist of the pants. If you tuck your shirt in, it probably helps keep it tucked in, but if you don't, like me... it is just an annoying rubber feel rubbing against your hips and waist skin constantly. It doesn't even seem to keep the pants up, after 20-30 minutes I kept having to re-tighten the waist.

Overall, the quality of the fabric is nice, good quality. If you are someone that needs a ton of pockets, these will do for you. There is a lot of stitching techniques implemented that I supposed are added to make the scrubs move and have a stylish/fitted look. I find them annoying. I think they make the legs look weird. The Koi Jason Top and James Pants is a great scrub set. They are lightweight, breathable, and flexible, which comes in handy working on a geri psych unit with combative pts. Also, sturdy pant with a tie and belt loops. I have tried many different scrub pants and they always seem to start sagging if you utilize your pockets like I do. So the belt loops are a huge PLUS! Definitely my favorite set of scrubs that I have purchased out of 5 different brands. (Posted on 4/28/2016)

I work in psych and I never had to wear scrubs at my last job. I had no idea what to buy, so I bought one set from almost every brand there is. These are some of my favorites. I could wear these around town and nobody would know they are scrubs. I look like I'm going to Yoga. The fabric is light, cool and soft. The best thing is they're not ridiculously baggy! I'm 6' and 175lbs. I wear 32wx32l and 38 chest. Medium size fits great! (Posted on 4/26/2014)

Used to buy Maxx and decided to try this Review by Hawaii50

When I found out that Koi stopped making the Maxx top for guys I was disappointed. I held off on buying this set for a while because I wasn't sure if I would like the new top. Finally I needed to buy scrubs and couldn't find anyone who had Maxx left in my size so I decided to buy this. While I still miss the Maxx, the Jason fits nicely and the material is still the same as before. The top matches the pants and I do like that they got rid of the big Koi tag that used to be on the outside of the old scrub top. Even though I wish Koi would make more than one men's scrub top I'm very happy with this purchase and will buy more. (Posted on 8/16/2013)
A top that fits well and feels great Review by KRS

This top fits well. I am 5'10 and 140lb; a medium fit perfect. The material is soft and comfortable which is better than the stiff scrubs that I have tried. It's good to find a scrub top the fits well and doesn't make me look like I could fit three extra people in my top. Great job KOI. If you're used to big and baggy, this isn't it. It's form fitting and made for men. It's also got pockets galore, making it very utilitarian. I'd definitely recommend this garment, it's worth the money, and I will be buying more. I just hope that it becomes available in more colors.
